The Feast of Tabernacles, or Sukkot, is an ancient Israelites festival commanded in Leviticus 23 to commemorate the Israelites' 40 years of wandering in the desert after leaving Egypt, a time they lived in temporary shelters or "tabernacles". The eight-day feast is a time of joy, reminding participants of YAH's past provision and their reliance on Him for sustenance. Historically, it was an important pilgrimage feast when men would travel to the Temple in Jerusalem, and it holds significance for Christians as well, with scholars noting that YAHUSHA's birth and the future fulfillment of His kingdom are linked to this feast.
